My “why”
I’ve written one of these a few years ago and it has shaped me in a way that has helped me stay focused. Every so often I come across it and reminds me of how far I've come since then. So I think it’s time to make a new one. It seems fitting given the situation I'm in right now about to start this journey I’m on.
This is why I do what I do. Why I run every chance I get. Why I work overtime every opportunity. Why I work hard at everything I put my mind to. Why I always give it my all and pour my heart into everything that I do.
My “why”:
So I can leave a legacy to my children. So they know that their dad did something in life.
To inspire people to do something great, no matter their circumstances.
So I can give my wife and kids not only what they need but what they want and deserve.
So that they have presents to open up on Christmas Day.
So that one day, I don’t have to work so had.
So my wife can stay home and not have to work two jobs.
To motivate people through my actions.
To prove everyone who ever doubted me, wrong.
To prove to myself that I do have what it takes to be great.
To be remember as someone who gave a damn about this world and tried to make it a better place.
So that people who are lost, not lose hope in life. Because there is good in the world.
So that when kids see on old man running they’ll ask how can he still run.
To be the example I would want my kids to follow. Not only that but be greater than I ever could.
These are a few reasons behind the things that I do in life. I’m not perfect. I make mistakes and I make bad choices sometimes. But I Pray and Hope for the best in life. It’s God’s will what happens to us all.
