About the owner

I am Miguel Aguirre from Lytle Texas. Class of 2001. I’m a Marine Corps veteran, a husband, and father of three. I love staying active. I love playing all kinds of sports. But there’s something about running I find fascinating. Probably because everyone thinks it’s easy, until they actually try it. Yeah running seems easy enough when you start. But can you outrun the person next to you? More importantly can you outrun your own limits? Can you Run Hard when no one is watching?

I have been a runner all my life. As a kid in school I loved racing other kids who thought they could beat me. We raced to the fence and back during recess. It was as least 100 yards. I loved it. I won almost every time. I lost twice that I remember and hated the feeling of defeat. I think that’s when my competitive spirit was born. I just had to be the best.

I played almost every sport I could in Jr. High and High School. Football, basketball, track, cross country, and powerlifting. Everything but baseball. For some reason I couldn’t get over the fear of catching a ball getting thrown full speed at you.

After High School I joined the Marines. I served from 2001-2005. I learned a lot to say the least in my short time in. It was an experience I was looking for at that age. It was fun, adventurous, and definitely scary at times.

After I got out, I eventually found my way through the workforce. I tried a few different career paths but I settled into the one I still do today. No matter what I do, I continue to develop myself physically and mentally. The older I get, the harder I have to work at it. I have pushed myself to limits I didn’t realize were possible for me. The Marine Corps has a way of getting that out of you.

The sports I played in High School and the military experience has shaped my way of life. I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t play sports at a young age. I don’t know what I would have done without the military to give me that boost in life.

I just want to be able to inspire people. Whether through my story or through this brand. I want people to never give up on themselves. Because I’ve been there. I want to move them into the positive mind where anything is possible. We are capable of so much if we just try and never up on our ourselves.

I know life is hard and some have it even harder. But you can never loose hope and faith. The world does seem dark at times, but there is always a brighter day coming.

In this life you have to know what you want and go out and get it. It will be hard. It will hurt. But nothing in life that’s worth it comes easy.

Whatever you decide to do in life, Run Hard at it my friends.
